Iglesia del Sagrado Corazón de Jesus y María. Diriamba, Carazo, Nicaragua. Present

We have broken ground for the new church in Diriamba, Carazo, Nicaragua, a predominately agricultural community of 2000 people, approximately 41km southwest of Managua.  Build the Faith is working closely with The Archdiocese of Managua and local officials in Diriamba to steer this much needed church through to completion.  We are thrilled with the progress so far as is the local priest, Padre Cesar Castillo, who will become the pastor for the new church.

Parish of Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe, Garagoa, Colombia.  2016-Present.

We helped finalize the construction of the building of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and its Chapel for 24 hour adoration of the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist.  We will now continue to give support to the Garagoa community by sponsoring its youth to attend Catholic retreats.

Pequeñas Madres de los Pobres. Jose C. Paz, Argentina. August 2018 – January 2019

We have begun our second building project. The dilapidated building which housed the nuns of the Order Pequeñas Madres de los Pobres in Argentina, had recently collapsed. The new building will house these dedicated women and help them continue their work caring for the poor children of the streets.  The children they serve often suffer from abuse or are suffering from addiction to drugs and alcohol.  The nuns will provide invaluable spiritual support and guidance to these kids.

Build the Faith Teen workshops

Thanks to the wonderful collaboration of parishes, religious education groups and Girl Scouts troops, we are able to introduce youth to Christina’s legacy of faith and hope. We teach the group the importance of  praying the Rosary, how we pray it and how to make our unique rosaries. After the workshop is completed, the group has the opportunity to do community work by helping Build the Faith introduce our mission to parishioners at Catholic masses and to sell our rosaries.
